Terms of service
The terms for using Auto Timesheets. Last updated: [date].
The service
Auto Timesheets records when a business's crew arrive at and leave its job sites, so the business can check their hours and send them to payroll. It records hours only. It does not calculate pay, and it does not replace the business's payroll software or its obligations as an employer.
Free trial and subscription
A new business can try the service free for 14 days. After that it is a monthly subscription, charged at $15 AUD plus GST per person per month. A person counts while they are an active worker on the business's crew list; people archived from the list do not count [owner to confirm]. If a trial ends or a subscription is cancelled, the business's data is kept, approving and exporting time is paused, and the crew's phones keep recording so nothing is lost.
The business's responsibilities
- You must tell your workers in writing, as the law in your state requires, before you record their location, and you must only use the service for that purpose. The app asks each worker to read and accept the notice you publish, and keeps a record of it.
- You are responsible for checking and approving the hours before they are used for pay.
- You must keep your sign-in details secure and only add people who work for you.
Accuracy
Location and phone signals are imperfect. The service lets you correct a record with the reason, and keeps the original. [Limits of liability, to be settled with advice.]
Cancelling
You can cancel at any time [notice and refund terms]. You can export your data first.
